| Waking up at 5:45AM was not what I wanted to do on my birthday. I went to clinical...and was thankful to see 12 newborn babies in the nursery. At least a handful of them were born today. And I felt God reminding me that I was in that little cart 22 years ago...and God had and still has a plan for me.
Jeremiah 29:11- "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Thank You

| I normally don't share how I did specifically in my classes...I typically say: "I did my best" or "I'm happy with how I did." Honestly, those answers are sometimes a cover-up for the disappointment I feel. When I found out I got 2 A's and 2 B's, it brought shame to me. Yet the order in which my grades were given this way
A B B A
What a good reminder of Romans 8:15-16 which reminds me where I should place my significance. Not in grades or GPA, but as a child of God.
"For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children."
P.S... Where did winter break go!?

| A repeated question people ask me is: So how's it first year nursing school and serving???
My response: It's different.
Another opportunity to let God lead even though I'm treading totally unfamiliar waters. Another opportunity to receive His grace.
But I could use your prayers. :)
